How Does Google Treat A Site That Contains 20 Press Releases Linking To Different Anchor Texts But Same Links?

In episode 313 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked how Google treats a site that contains 20 press releases linking to different anchor texts with the same link.

The exact question was:

Hi guys: 1) I know that it is not the proper way to do press releases (like the pr stacking) but how do you think Google treats a site that has 20 press releases linking to it with different text but each pr has 2 links with different anchor texts but with the same hrefs. Meaning 20 PR’s with 2 links with the same hrefs but all the text and anchors texts are different.

This Stuff Works
